A day in Albuquerque.  Today was a huge day starting with breaks at the holel at 6:30 and then heading to Albuquerque.  We saw a Police car flip on the interstate whilst on our way but the driver managed to get out safely.  There are many Pueblos along the way (native communities). Many have casinos for income.  We started our day at a middle school. Very inspiring for children grades 6 - 8.  Then we went to lunch at the cultural centre (green chilli beef - yummy).  Off to the arts museum with a guided tour (fantastic arts from local, American artists.  Also the performing arts centre with the largest stage in the South West and entry halls that were just spactacular.  We have then gone to an adult learning centre where we spent several hours with students and staff, most if who had English as a second language. Pampering day!

Today was a day of pampering 😃 We started with a lazy morning...sleep in, late breakfast! Then we headed to Patong in a taxi.  We spent our day at Jungceylon, shopping! After lunch we found a place for Jan and I to have a manicure, pedicure and our nails done.  Jason and Brayden did some more shopping and had a fish foot spa 🐠 I think the fish were hungry and by the time they had finished needed no more to eat for the day!!! Got a gorgeous shot of the sunset tonight... ...after our Tuk Tuk ride home (Brayden’s request) We then headed to Karon for dinner and a little more pampering...💆🏼‍♀️💆🏻‍♂️💅🏻 A stop at the Karon Aussie first... Dinner... Thank you Jason for buying us leis x Then to the massage 💆🏼‍♀️ parlour... Brayden and Jason - Pedicures and foot massage.  Jan and I had back and shoulder massages. Another day in paradise!

Not a lot to report today...a very quiet day! Lots of rest (a little bruised and battered after yesterday), reading, swimming and relaxing.  We went for another fitting this afternoon...picking up our clothes tomorrow. 😊 Then we strolled around the markets and along Karon Beach.  The sunset was gorgeous (not sure my photos do it justice).   Every night on Karon Beach people purchase these lanterns that they light and then they take off like a hot air balloon. They are beautiful to watch, got some photos tonight. There are usually plenty of fireworks as well. Legal or not we haven’t worked out???? We headed for dinner and unfortunately we had the worst meal we have ever had and the worst service. It was only today I was telling a couple from Melbourne that you can’t go wrong...spoke to soon!!!! After we finally had dinner we headed for another massage...we have the last few nights been having foot massages 💆🏼‍♀️ 💆🏻‍♂️  For all 4 of tonight it cost us a total of $...
