Erawan Museum

What an amazing day!

After a magnificent breakfast at our hotel it was time to check out!
At 10am, Geoff, Chalor, Poi and Arnut picked us up from our hotel. We travelled down Sukhumvit Rd with no idea where we were going! Geoff didn't want us to know...it was a surprise!!

Well, as we turned the corner our breath was taken away by the most amazing three headed elephant.
We were heading to the Erawan Museum.

The Erawan Museum, according to the founder Lek Viriyaphant's ideal wish, was aimed to serve as a showcase of the spirit of Asia where the essence of Arts and 4 major religions have been preserved in order to make known to Asian people and the world the foundation of the eastern civilisation cultivated and transmitted through the philosophical inspiration.

An absolutely amazing place....
We headed to Mega Bang Na for lunch and treated the youngsters to the last western meal for 8 days ( McDonalds - Arnut was in his element!)

We then travelled nearly 2 hours to get to Pak Hai Provence. We went to the street stalls/markets to grab our evening meal and headed home to the house.

We spent the afternoon with beer and red wine in hand out front of the noodle shop (Geoff and Chalor own).

Photos of their home and noodle shop to follow...

Looking forward to tomorrow (exhausted right now!!)

Ja, Mel & Brayden.
