Sena and Wang Noi

Today was a 'Day in the Life of Geoff and Chalor on their Day Off'
As you may have seen earlier before we had a very special breakfast visitor...you will be please to know that he was safely returned to the canal.

After organising ourselves we headed to Sena. Nothing spectacular as a town but we went to what is like a huge warehouse- a super sized Reject Shop. Geoff, Chalor and Poi get a lot of their stock for the shop here. Just recently Geoff got heaps of Peter Lehmann wine there...we appear to be making a dint in his collection!!!!

We saw some beautiful homes in this area and some new ones being built!
We then headed to Ayutthaya. We had lunch at what they call 'Tesco Lotus Cafe' which is just like a food court. Brayden and I had KFC...The others had a Thai based meal - chicken and rice basically!!!
We the headed to Wang Noi to go to Makro. Basically the same as Costco!!
We saw plenty of street stalls on the way in the car....

After that we stopped at a market to get prawns for dinner. The place we stopped has live prawns that you purchase by the kilo ($7/kilo). They then cook then for you. They were huge!!!

We ended up making them into Garlic Prawns as they were a little bland... Check them out...
Anyway another great day!

Comments

  1. Are you voice recording all these experiences? From what sea/ocean do the prawns come? Did they grill BBQ them? Stay safe.

  2. No voice recording....have already used all my storage on my iPad!!!
Prawns are farmed...in what is called Aquaculture...they are grain fed. So have never lived in either a sea or an ocean!
There is a photo of the girl cooking the prawns...like a BBQ.
